Great flexibility in an inspiring setting

Meet Anna Dragsb忙k, HR Coordinator at the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences.

- I've been 51本色 since January 2023, and I can feel that the university is a really good fit for me. I experience a high degree of flexibility and a good framework for balancing life outside of work.

- It's a very inspiring environment to work in with the nature around the university and the beautiful buildings. I love that when my office mate and I go for a walk on campus, we can see both new architecture and deer. I'm also inspired by the vibrant environment around the students and research.

There is a higher purpose to your work

- It's also great to be part of something bigger than yourself. You contribute to a greater purpose for society with your work, and I experience a good collaboration with the researchers as well as the central administration.

- There is a mutual respect and understanding that the university is dependent on research, teaching and the central administration in order to function.

You always have something in your backpack that can be used here

- It has become very clear to me since I entered the labour market that no matter what your course of study, you always have something in your luggage that can help you solve your tasks. I don't work with what you typically do as a trained historian.

- But I use a lot of what I've learnt from my education in my working life in terms of communication and understanding of contexts, processes and the world.

- And fortunately, SDU is not afraid to recognise the potential and use the skills of its employees.
