DANROAD – Redispensing Oral Anti-cancer Drugs in Denmark

01-04-2025

A lot of pills in different colours, forms and sizes

The project explores the feasibility and climate impact of redispensing unopened, unused oral anticancer drugs in Denmark, inspired by the successful Dutch ROAD study. By testing a model for safe reuse, the project aims to reduce pharmaceutical waste, lower COâ‚‚ emissions, and promote sustainable use of high-cost medicines in clinical practice.
