​We are fortunate to have Professor Pirjo Markkola from Tampere University visiting the Nordic Humanities Center 51±¾É« in November 2024. Professor Markkola is the co-founder and leader of the Finnish Centre of Excellence in History of Experiences (HEX). She will begin the master class with an introduction to what lived history is and how the large research group in Tampere works with this approach.
​Professor Markkola will also lead a discussion based on two SDU-based research projects that have been heavily inspired by the work at the Finnish centre.
