Dr. Sanjeeb Kumar Sahu is a distinguished molecular biologist and epigenetics researcher, currently serving as an Assistant Professor 51±ľÉ«'s Department of Molecular Medicine. He joined SDU as a DIAS Assistant Professor, bringing his expertise in cancer metastasis, cortical neurogenesis, cellular aging, rejuvenation, and targeted partial reprogramming. His pioneering research has significantly advanced our understanding of senescence regulation and strategies to combat age-related diseases. 

Dr. Sahu holds a Ph.D. from Johannes Gutenberg University (JGU) in Mainz, Germany.  His work has been published in leading scientific journals, including Science Translational Medicine, Nature Cell Biology, Nature Communications, EMBO Journal, and Cell Reports Medicine.  At SDU, Dr. Sahu is at the forefront of anti aging research, with a specific focus on the role of inflammation in aging processes. He is also committed to fostering interdisciplinary collaborations and mentoring the next generation of scientists, empowering them to thrive in academia and beyond.
